Vanderbilt's Diabetes Family Day

This was my third year photographing this wonderful event.   Vanderbilt's TrailNet research team lead discussions on type 1 diabetes and it's prevention.  Screening for type 1 diabetes was also held along with many fun and educational activities for the kids.

Team Type 1 - elite cyclists who race to raise awareness of Type 1 diabetes.  They are truly inspirational.

Tanner Johnson's Seniors

Tanner's photo session had me trekking in the woods.  Thank goodness he brought his two dogs along to scare off any potential crawling critters lurking.

The Welch Family

The Welch family has doubled in size over the past two years.  Last year brought the adoption of Tristan and then the birth of Brynn just a few short months ago. Theirs is a  special story  of  love and miracles.
